Aethera is an open-ended hackathon built for builders who don't want to be boxed in. There's no fixed theme, no narrow track, no "must use X technology" — just a challenge to build anything you can imagine and make it awesome and working. Whether it's software, hardware, a game, a robot, or something nobody's thought of yet, the choice is entirely yours.

This event is designed for anyone with an idea and the drive to bring it to life. You can go solo or team up with others in the community. What matters is the project you ship and how well you tell its story.

Requirements

What to Build

The choice is yours. Build something in any category — software, hardware, games, robotics, or anything else you can dream up. There is no required theme or technology. The goal is to showcase creativity, technical ability, and originality. Projects must be new and created during the duration of the hackathon. We will fact-check.

What to Submit

  • A public repository (GitHub or alternative) with your project's code and assets.
  • A demo video between 2 and 6 minutes explaining your project, showing how it works, and highlighting what makes it unique.
  • A written description on Devpost that covers:
    • The problem or idea you focused on
    • The solution you developed
    • The technology stack you used

 

Optional but encouraged: include a link to a live demo if applicable.
